Nimba  Electoral District 9 has a registered voter population of 27,645 made up of  14,141 males and  13,504 females as of July 2023.

With 39 centers, the electoral district consists all the amalgamated towns in Blinlon, Gbi and Doru, Mehnsonnoh and Zahnla administrative districts; and Graie, Volay, Ziah Two, Zuaplay, Zuolay and Zuotuo amalgamated towns in Doe Administrative District.

The district plays a vital role in electing representatives to the House of Representatives in the republic of Liberia.
