Montserrado  Electoral District 12 has a registered voter population of 54,396 made up of   25,913 males and  28,483 females as of July 2023.

With 22 centers, the electoral district consists of all the following: Maryland Center Community in Bardnersville Township; and Chicken Soup Factory, Clapus Town, Dry Rice Market, J.J.Y South B, Johnsonville Road, Karduma, Kesselly Boulevard, MTA, Palm Hill, River View, Shoe Factory, Snow Hill, Stephen Tolbert Estate and Swagger Island communities in Gardnersville Township.

The district plays a vital role in electing representatives to the House of Representatives in the republic of Liberia.
