Maryland Electoral District 3 has a registered voter population of 21,544 made up of 11,318 males and 10,226 females as of July 2023.

With 39 centers, the electoral district consists all the amalgamated towns in Gwelekpoken, Karluway One, Karluway Two, Nyorken, Worjah and Yedorobo administrative districts; and Gborlorbo Amalgamated Town in Pleebo/Sodoken Administrative District.

The district plays a vital role in electing representatives to the House of Representatives in the republic of Liberia.
