Maryland Electoral District 2 has a registered voter population of 24,934 made up of 11,848 males and 13,086 females as of July 2023.

With 19 centers, the electoral district consists of Bessaken, Gbeken, Gbewein, Gbloken, Gbolou, Gedetarbo, Golobo, New Sodoken, Old, Sodoken, Pleebo, Sedeken, Tambo, Tunuken and Wetchoken amalgamated towns in Pleebo/Sodoken Administrative District.

The district plays a vital role in electing representatives to the House of Representatives in the republic of Liberia.
