Montserrado  Electoral District 17 has a registered voter population of 73,153 made up of   56,111 males and  37,042 females as of July 2023.

With

56 centers, the electoral district consists of all the city wards in Arthington, Brewerville and Clay Ashland cities; and all the township wards in Cheesemanburg, Millsburg, Royesville and Virginia townships.

The district plays a vital role in electing representatives to the House of Representatives in the republic of Liberia.
