Bong Electoral District 2 has a registered voter population of 30,691 made up of 15,209 males and 15,482 females as of July 2023.

With 22 centers, the electoral district comprises of Ward Five, Ward Eight and Ward Nine city wards in Gbarnga City; David-Ta and Kollieta-Wola amalgamated towns in Jorquelleh One Administrative District; all the amalgamated towns in Jorquelleh Two Administrative District; and Garwuquelleh – Two and Yeanawoun – One amalgamated towns in Yeallequelleh Administrative District.

The district plays a vital role in electing representatives to the House of Representatives in the republic of Liberia.
