Bong Electoral District 1 has a registered voter population of 37,046 made up of 18,860 males and 18,186 females as of July 2023.

With 27 centers, the electoral district comprises of all the amalgamated towns in Boinsen,Kokoyah, Kpaai and Tukpahblee administrative districts.

The district plays a vital role in electing representatives to the House of Representatives in the republic of Liberia.
