Nimba  Electoral District 1 has a registered voter population of 36,197  made up of   16,960 males and   19,237 females as of July 2023.

With 18 centers, the electoral district consists of all the communities in Gompa City (Gbuyee Two Amalgamated Town in Garr-Bain Administrative District); and Dormah-Pa Three, Nengben Four, Tonglaywin One and Yelekoryee Five amalgamated towns in Garr-Bain Administrative District.

The district plays a vital role in electing representatives to the House of Representatives in the republic of Liberia.
