Lofa Electoral District 5 has a registered voter population of 37,908 made up of 18,386 males and 19,522 females as of July 2023.
With 42 centers, the electoral district consists of all the amalgamated towns in Salayea Administrative District; and Balagwalazu, Baloma, Bodah, Borkeza, Fassawalazu, Fissibu, Kilemu, Kpassagizia, Wanleima, Warkesu, Woulowumo, Woumai, Yeala, Zelemai, Ziggida, Zolowo and Zorzor amalgamated towns in Zorzor Administrative District.
The district plays a vital role in electing representatives to the House of Representatives in the republic of Liberia.
