Lofa Electoral District 1 has a registered voter population of 39,844 made up of 18,975 males and 20,869 females as of July 2023.
With 17 centers, the electoral district consists of Fassapoe, Foya, Ndama, Sinagole and Yelayaloe amalgamated towns in Foya Administrative District; Konkpama and Ndehuma amalgamated towns in Tengia Administrative District; and all the amalgamated towns in Waum Administrative District.
The district plays a vital role in electing representatives to the House of Representatives in the republic of Liberia.
