Grand Bassa Electoral District 5 has a registered voter population of 30,499 made up of 15,656 males and 14,843 females as of July 2023.

With 40 centers, the electoral district comprises of Whrogba Amalgamated Town in Blezee Administrative District; all the amalgamated towns in Doegbahn-Glaydor and Kpoewein administrative districts; Harmonsville Central and Upper Harlandsville township wards in Neekreen Statutory District; and Gbayah Amalgamated Town in Nyuein-Wein Administrative District.

The district plays a vital role in electing representatives to the House of Representatives in the republic of Liberia.
